In the Ballbark

By Peniel Gifted

In the ballpark, where
Golding comes to frisk, in
Feathers of rubicund tinges.

There squat I, ogling
Brussel sprouts, as winged
Tropes slide into a thirsty pate.

From bulwarks flow steady
Flatus of Oswego tea, giving
Moxie to weary pads and stalks.

Puddles of brio, where nomen
Dances to papeterie rippling
Cloudless- fleet-footed heavens.
